The program is open to students who earned their high school diploma or GED between January and June 2022. It will allow them to take classes during the summer to start college earlier, lighten the course load fall or shorten the time it takes to earn a degree.

Students in the LEAP program are eligible for a scholarship to cover tuition and books. Those who take six or more credits can also receive a free laptop.

During the summer semester, LEAP students can take 3 to 12 credits that can be applied to a TCC program or transferred to a four-year school.

Students can take classes for five times. They include a 10-week session beginning May 23, a 7-week late session beginning June 6, and a 5-week late session beginning July 5.

Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Those already committed to a four-year school for the fall are eligible for transfer credit
