Bead Flowers (Page 2 of 3)

Flowers

Then, I figured, I could not read and so I figured that that would be something for me to do, so I would sit here and make bead flowers, and--do you want to see them? (Yes Ma'am!) All right, let's go.

Flowers

You have your wires and you string each bead on the wire and then you shape your flowers. I have given, oh, exhibitions on how to make bead flowers to a garden club in Houma, one here, one in Gueydon, and one in Baton Rouge. Those small ones take me three and a half hours to make. Now these take me eight hours to make. Of course these are smaller beads and they're your larger flower, your daylilies.
