Why I painted something is because it had a particular feel when riding by. Painting helped to preserve a certain feeling that I wanted to capture forever. It could be a certain cloud, or a certain way a field looked that particular day or the way I thought it should have looked.

Louisiana in the southern part next to river and almost all the southern south central part is a lot of sugarcane and cattle fields and it has a huge canopy, has lot of sky.
