I guess one thing is I've really loved steamboats longer than I was fascinated with plantation homes. One of the steam boats that really fascinated me was the Delta Queen and she used to pass right out here on the [Mississippi] River.

I only live a block or so from the River. When I was a kid and even now I live just a little bit from the River. But when I was a kid I used to drop whatever I was doing and I would just run up the levee and watch the steamboat pass, from bend to bend.
